S Table

One of the most interesting things about the S Table, apart from the striking structure, is Josephine Colsen's choice of material. Dimb (Cordylia Pinnata) is a sustainably-grown hardwood that originates in Senegal, where it is used for a wide range of construction, domestic and even medicinal purposes.

Treated with care and given an occasional waxing, dimb retains all the traditional qualities of a hardwood, such as solidity and strength, combined with softened lines and an attractive grain. This attractive and substantial piece of furniture looks stunning in a wide range of interior environments.
