Pin Up Clock

This is such a neat idea it is amazing that nobody seems to have thought of it before: a clock that is also a wall lamp. While the lamp is switched off the clock works as normal, but when it is switched on the whole unit illuminates. As an added bonus, designer Frits Vink has added a pin-up girl pendulum, redolent of popular pin-up art from the 1940s.

The unit is mounted on a metal frame and the surround is made of cotton, which filters the light from the lamp into a soft but strong haze.
